Royal South + guests
Friday 31 March 2023
Can we go back to last weekend? We had two intimate SOLD OUT shows headlined by Nashville duo Royal South. The crowds went wild for ‘Cry, Cry’, ‘Shh (Don’t Say a Thing’, as well as fan favourite ‘Feet’. Stories were shared throughout the evening and laughter roared with the on and off stage banter, leaving all wanting more. They finished each show with a sing a long, featuring ‘Wagon Wheel’ for a newly engaged couple and the classic ‘Country Roads’ which were both belted out at the top of our lungs. Many had waited years for these shows & they did not disappoint. CD’s were signed and selfies were taken… and the drinks kept flowing.
Josh Gleaves and his wife Chloe’s harmonies, soul and songs become a fan favourite with the crowd each night. Both making their Culpeppers debut, the couple had the entire audience captivated from the moment they started singing. The queue for Josh’s upcoming EP release titled ‘Cathedral Town’ grew, many wanting to meet & support the rising star.
The evening kicked off with the incredibly talented singer songwriter Hux, who also made his Culpeppers debut on Friday night. As his set continued you could hear a pin drop with each word he sung, gaining many new fans with every moment. We doubt this will be the last time we will hear the name, Hux.
