Check out details for the March challenge on the Camera Club Facebook Page. CREATIVE BASILDON. We have been given the opportunity to join in the BasilDances Community Arts Project. Some of you met Movement Director Johnny on Monday. The film documentary company has been commissioned to make a dance-documentary film. The film will revolve around the stories of Basildon residents' memories of Brooke House, Robins Cinema and Robins Pie & Mash Shop. Our dance performance will then be filmed and included to compliment their stories.
If you or your family & friends would like to share their stories with them for possible inclusion, they will be at the Dropzone (old cinema/British Heart Foundation Shop) this weekend (18th & 19th March, 2023).
If you would like to join us in this once in a lifetime opportunity and line dance your way into history, then let us know.
We will advise on what the line dances will be nearer the time (we won't know until the residents' stories have been chosen).
Filming will take place in Basildon on 14th April, 2023 during the day. More information will become available as and when. The film will be given a Gala showing in Basildon in May, 2023. ROYAL SOUTH
Nashville based Royal South will be making a welcome return on Friday 31st March & 1st April, 2023. This event is rescheduled from 2020 and all pre-purchased tickets will remain valid. If you purchased a ticket for Friday in 2020, it will be valid for Friday 31st March, 2023. Saturday in 2020 will be valid for Saturday 1st April, 2023. There are limited tickets available, so book now to avoid disappointment. This is a limited unreserved seating/standing event.
